Freestanding Panera going in next to Chili’s in Simpsonville.
The Chili's on Woodruff is closing when the Fairview Rd location opens. Staff is transferring to the new location according to the waitstaff last weekend.

Really? I thought you said the one on Haywood was closing. The one on Woodruff isn’t that old. Seems far enough away to keep them both open also. Odd.

I never said that the Haywood location was closing. Always looks like it's going strong to me. There was a post earlier in the Recently Closed thread from someone that that the Woodruff Rd location would close and move to Simpsonville which was confirmed by one of the employees working there last weekend for whatever that's worth.

Does the Old Panera have a drive thru? That may be the reason.
I honestly don't know since I usually go in.
