Thanks...We're going to spend time together in a casino/resort. (Near me.).. Have a great meal on Christmas Eve. Go to see a movie together and just "play it by ear."...Smilin used to come up to this area for Christmas when her husband was alive. And they always stayed at their favorite casino. (The same casino that my family always loved best too! Go figure!)...But this time, we're going to "do" a different casino.

Belated Happy Birthday, CA. Sounds like YOU made it special for yourself, along with your friend's cake. Good for you!

Thanksgiving for me....I cried a bit when they went around the table saying who they were each thankful for. Physically, I didn't do as well as I would have liked. But overall, the combination of who was at that table, with me lying down on a couch, made it okay.

Thanks for asking

I understand your feelings of which end is "up" or "down", CA. Although, I don't experience that so much anymore, I do feel that way at times. Trying to rediscover the new me and I take what fits and discard what doesn't. At times it feels "rocky" moments. I am trying to get back my "HAPPY".

I am so happy CA and Tam you had a delightful Thanksgiving, makes my heart sing. :-)
Smilin,

Sounds like you had an interesting Thanksgiving. I was just thinking how many of them I've worked in the past. That might make it easier for me, compared to some, to say those Cheers sound pretty good.

Glad you did what you needed to do to make it through. So glad you and CA are meeting on Christmas.
