Well depending on where you're going in L.A. the traffic can be worse. I'd say L.A. traffic can compete with Honolulu for worst in the country.

It is really annoying and undoubtedly drives others away from CD/Hawaii.

Breaking news: Hawaii is part of the United States and it's mostly the same as anywhere else on the West Coast.

A working adult wakes up in Torrance, CA. How is that persons day terribly different than the working adult who wakes up in Mililani, HI?

I gave you a long list on another thread, and your memory seems fine so I didn't see a reason to make a new one saying the same thing.
