All i know is what has already been said.
We cannot even take care of our own Homeless people. Let alone Syrian refugees who will/will not be vetted, we (US Govt) do not know??
Most of the refugees do not have paperwork?

Thoughts?
My opinion is that he will be a one-term governor.

His statement was, at best, reckless.

We have the highest per capita homeless population in the country. We don't have the ability to properly care for our own population and current influx of immigrants.

He wants to let the refugees in as long as the most vigorous and highest level of screening and security vetting are in place... but fails to recognize that the only effective security measure against the potential threat is to deploy mind reading devices at all points of entry.

This is all idealistic utopian thinking. No rationale whatsoever.

You can chalk this up as an example of liberalism and political correctness gone too far. Liberalism works... up to a point. Sometimes you have to put aside boundless compassion for those less fortunate humans across the globe and consider first the security, safety and welfare of the people you are presiding over. Ige failed at this.

I supported Ige in the election... but this clearly shows he is unfit as a governor.

It doesn't matter what has been said.

The bureau of immigration is at the federal level.

(All) states have nothing to do with it.

Why are we assuming that refugees are unskilled people?
