Agree the Chinese get two thumbs up for working hard. I guess I wouldn't confuse what appears to be laid back in the Middle East for lack of motivation. YMMV.

Wow really???? WTH?
Um, do you know the situation with Micronesians in Hawaii? We just had a major brawl at Pahoa High just a couple of days ago involving non-student Micronesians coming on campus to cause trouble, beating students. Do you know that there are supposedly 300-400 Micronesians living on ONE ACRE in HOVE? I'm not blaming them, but this jazz about "Free association" is pure BS. They do not assimilate well.

Are they on the lot next to the cannibals and the always burning imu?

I think the cannibals are nearer to Kilauea, where those virgins are. I always like the smell of BBQ.

I got my statement wrong about the amount of Micronesians in Oceanview, There are way more than a few years ago, over 700 now on 2 acres. About 300 are related to the property owner, Jonithen Jackson, who is "Running for president of Enewetak".

700 people on 2 acres? C'mon.

I have to disagree on this point. personalizing this issue, I cannot in a million years see my 4 sons leaving me and their sister, poverty stricken and homeless, in a war torn country to "find a better place and send for me later". Just doesn't add up.

Are you saying what I mentioned never happened? Well then you're wrong because what I mentioned is fact. It's well documented. Just because you can't see your family doing the same doesn't mean others don't do it.
Still happens with certain immigrant groups today.

Could you be a bit more specific, I browsed the reference, and saw nothing in regards to Micronesians on the Bigger Island.
