Did you see anyone before you were born? That's probably a pretty good indication of who you'll see when you die.

So now taking 1 mg of a drug 2 days a week is "hooked?"

And they DON'T "make money for Big Pharma" because they were all made generic a long time ago. It's the name brands that do that, which is why they're constantly coming out with new ones, whether "improved" or not.
Maybe if I keep bickering with you I'll just die of exhaustion.

It was wrong to give you psych medication, a potent tranquilizer that needs prescription, without a doctor order.
And it was wrong of you to take medication prescribed to your sister, deciding that you need it and hoping it will help.
It is wrong to decide how much and how often you need to take it.
Did you got Trazodone the same way?

You said that one doctor didn't
want to give you script for Xanax (there must be a reason), so you went to another doctor..

Let's talk about dosage

Those are Xanax pills.
If you got 1/3 of 2 mg, then you got about 0.7mg piece

https://lighthousetreatment.com/what-color-is-xanax/

Now you're saying that your pill is orange (0.5 mg) and you take whole. Just Sat-Sun, right?
How many hours you sleep taking them PLUS how many hours do you map?

What's going on Mon to Fri?

Are you still taking naps?
You didn't take any Xanax since July?
But you take a nap and fight sleepiness around 7PM and go to bed around 9:15PM, then sleep till 2 or 3 AM? That's 6 hours. Most people are happy with that. I sleep only 5, and no naps.

Most older people just sleep shorter, but you want to sleep 20 hrs a day.

If I were you, it would bother me, and I would want to know why you want to sleep 20hrs/day - any other medical problems? Taking other meds?

FYI:

I can beat that. I was given chloralhydrate at 18 months. I am not sure of the dosage, that should induce sleep in a 150 lb man.

My thoughts are as follows - It is only in the modern era, that working 9-5 is pretty much imperative. Perhaps some people are neurologically hard wired to be alert at night.

The fact that I am very alert in the evening, would later inform my career choice at a Registered Nurse. I mostly worked in Psychiatry. I have also worked as a private investigator, (night surveillance) writer, educational advisor and Life Coach. (all appointments from 3PM to 10PM) and night school lecturer.

How? I only take it on the weekends. Just got up a 3+ hour nap. Magic is back.
