I asked the Doc for Xanax today. I took it for around 8 years when my sister started giving me hers. It was a 2 mil pill and she would cut it in 3 pieces and i would take one to help me sleep. I can take a piece around 11am on the weekends and take a good 3 hour naspter. I am always so amped up i can't take naps since i stopped smoking in 2014. Her pills ran out last Oct since she passed away in 2019.

So glad i can sleep on weekends again. When i stopped smoking it really messed me up. I could take 3 to 4 hour napsters easy and after i stopped smoking that was the end of any naps.

First of all, Xanax isn't a sleeping pill.

Second, you might want to think twice about taking medication forever instead of trying to resolve the root problem.

Nothing else will work. I just never get tired.

Although Xanax is for anxiety, I use it for sleep, 1 mg at night.

My sis would cut a 2 mil pill in 3 pieces and one piece always helped me.

You yourself wrote that you take naps multiple hours long during the day. Don't you think that might be part of the reason you have trouble falling asleep that night? A 3-4 hour "nap" is half a full night's sleep!

I have not taken a nap for more than 30 mins since last July when i found a Xanax under the stove when i moved it out. No wonder my sister called them magic. I cut in three pieces and had a nice 3 hour nap.

The pills ran out last Oct. My sister had a bunch when she passed away in Sept of 2019. They lasted a long time since i only take one piece on a Sat and another on a Sun.

My other Doc would not give me any. I gotta go to Walgreens and get em Sun. Ever since i stopped smoking my sleep went to hell as i am way too wired up and wound up and feel like i am gonna blow up all the time. Only time i really get tired is around 830pm and crash and burn around 915pm and go right to sleep and wake up around 2 or 3am all amped up and ready to go.

Should have never stopped smoking as it ruined me.

Try an mj brownie at about 7 pm or so. We sleep straight through the night. On vacation now we don't have any and wake up at 2 or 3:00 like clockwork.

Stop with the naps, that messes up your sleep.
