I saw a doctor about this today, had him confuddled good and proper. He said both my ears looked healthy, but this 'thumping/throbbing/pulsing' in my left ear is making me miserable.
He suggested taking a nasal spray for a few days, so I've just started doing that, and also said to yawn a lot (not hard for me!) and to swallow.
He was unsure about what caused the throbbing, but when I mentioned also getting horrible decompression when landing in an aircraft, he was more definite about it being a blocked eustachian tube.
I'm in Sydney, and have been reading elsewhere on the forum about something called a "Z-pack" which seems to work, but am not sure about it's availability here.
Has anyone else had this sensation?? Did you climb up the walls, and snap at your beloved/s?? Any other suggestions/remedies would be appreciated!
Thanks for listening/reading, folks, have a good Monday/Tuesday!
Get to a health food store and buy yourself some EAR CANDLES! I am almost certain they will relieve your problems immediately. Anything that has to do with the ears or sore throats will be helped immensely with ear candles.

Ear candles do not provide any significant heat nor do they create the suction that would be necessary to pull cerumen from the ear canal into the candle. The suction would have to be so great that it would cause damage to the tympanic membrane in the process.

The authors duplicated DeMeo's tests and discovered that when using ear candles with cerumen in a test tube, no wax was removed, in fact there was wax deposited in the test tube after candling.9
I have seen their results. Health-related modalities do not span hundreds of years if they do not work.
Just because conventional medical practitioners cannot get rich from them, does not mean they are not effective.

If there were ANY proven health effects from putting lit candles in people's ears, you better believe 'conventional' medical practitioners would be utilizing them.
By your reasoning, I guess we should also go back to the practice of bloodletting, since it dates back to around 100 BC.....

Whatever????
I imagine that "conventional" medical practitioners do not recommend ear candles because they are at best ineffective and at worst can cause severe damage.
But I guess if Jessica Simpson does it, it must be credible...
