I have several colors through out the house. That way each room is different..

It's funny, but all my room colors blend together well with each other even though it was accidental. I did make sure that my foyer and hallway are a neutral pale ivory. It acts as a sort of respite and transition between the other room colors.
Although I have rather vibrant colors..grass green, sky blue... in my house now, I am feeling as if my next house will have really pale whispers of color...pale gray, water, sky ..very calming tones..

They're Olympic paints from Lowe's.

Don't like all rooms the same; don't like all the carpeting the same.

Our rooms are different colors as well. The living room is beige with cream trim, the dining room is terra cotta with oak trim, kitchen is white. The rooms are arranged one behind the other; the only jarring thing is that the curtains in the living room are burgundy, which kinda is jarring with the terra cotta in the dining room. But since the cats put a few shreds in the curtains when they were kittens, the curtains will be replaced with a sage green sometime soon.

Upstairs the rooms are all different colors. The stairway and hall are the same color as the living room; one bedroom is mustard yellow, another is a pale lemon yellow, and the master bedroom is sage green. The bath is beige tile and walls, and gets its color from burgundy shower curtain etc. -- when I get bored with the color of the bathroom, all I need to do to change it is buy a new shower curtain and new cafe curtains.
