I am looking for recommendations on a good entry-level gas grill (3 burner with side burner) and my budget was $200 -$250 at the max. This is my first grill and the side-burner is a "must-have".
It looks like Weber's cheapest is the E330.

But reading all over the place, it looks like Weber is probably the best and the other 2 has mixed reviews.

I found the following with side-burners -
1. NexGrill - $199
2. Char Griller - $189
3. Weber Spirit E330 - $629

But wouldn't you come out cheaper even if the lower-end ones come for 4-5 years and then I have to replace it?

Any reason why I should pay higher and go for the Weber?

DH did all the grilling. I know he did not like the Weber grill.

I have a 10 year old Genesis-- the current equivalent would be the E-315. It work for my needs. I like the cast iron grates and the replacement parts (like flavor bars, new burner assembly, piezo ignition module) are all easy to find locally and replace. It's reliable and cooks very evenly. I didn't need a side burner or all the whistles of a sear section etc. I paid around $550 or something like that, and I use it year round. Very robust build.

However- if I'm cooking quality steaks or similar, or dishes where I want a 'grilling' taste- I use my 30 year old Weber charcoal grill. I can rip that much hotter and add chunks of hardwoods for flavor.

The Genesis is great for using the rotisserie for chicken or roasts, kabobs, bbq chicken and veggies (and burgers/veggies).

Weber has always been the best for me. Other cheap grills are basically disposable after 2 or 3 years. Personally I'd spend the extra money for something that will last a lot longer. My E330 is still going strong at 5 years. I replaced the burners and flavorizer bars last year and it works like new.

I have a Weber Genesis II that I enjoy cooking on. I would recommend to spend a little more and get the Weber. It has a 10 year warranty on all parts while the Nexgrill only has a 5 year warranty and not sure if it covers as much as Weber.

The lower priced no-name (Uniflame?) brands on display everywhere aren't a BAD choice.
But pony up th extra $10 for a cover if you need to leave it out.

Weber is best for for a bunch of reasons two of which are customer service and part availability even on their products that are over 10 years old. And, you can quickly converse with a live, knowledgeable person regarding an issue if need be.
