Yep, agreed. He's a coward and a fraud in every sense of the word. A true stain on the Republican party imo.

Alexandra is the best candidate.

We don’t need to keep collecting data to know that it’s not Harvey, it’s not COVID – it’s Lina Hidalgo’s prioritization of bail reform in the name of justice for violent offenders. Once elected, I will focus on justice for the victims. She wants to re-imagine the criminal justice system by investing in “Holistic Alternative Responder Teams” and studies on gun violence—I believe in good old-fashioned boots on the ground. We simply need MORE LAW ENFORCEMENT in our communities, NOT LESS.

Yeah, how did we end up with the worst politicians in Texas?

In recent elections I’ve contributed more money to out of state candidates, and none in Texas.

No, Mealer is an utter moron mouthing right wing talking points. The County Judge has little influence on how bail is set. That's up to County and District Court judges.

Mealer may want more boots on the ground, but I haven't heard one word on where she thinks the money will come from.

Some time back for many years I attended every commissioners court meeting. And the 4 the commissioner had monthly in every area of his precinct.

You may want to look into the lawsuit that was filed regarding bail. It is a national movement. It will not be resolved any county judge. In Texas the lege should be the decider.

I will bet the rent money that the commissioners court has never adequately funded law enforcement, since Jack Heard was sheriff.

And in the case of the law enforcement in Harris county, there are too many different agencies doing that job with no coordination. We have constables, HCSO and all the ISD police units. All the subdivisions who can afford it pay the salary of a part time cop, the county buys the car. Now throw in the lone annexed areas of the CoH and it is a mess.

As the previous county judge tried to tell us over and over there is no way to manage what would be the 5th largest city in the USA, under current Texas law.

Remember....the president does not affect the price of gasoline...as Biden's cheerleaders reminded us all 24-7 these last few months. LOL
