Not what the Madison and CLR folks want to hear, but Chick-Fil-a has signed a lease where Sweet Peas briefly was on Governors (Governors and Harvard/Lowery intersection) near Huntsville Hospital.

That’s interesting...will they raze that building and construct a new restaurant? I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a Chick fila move into an existing, dated building.

Here is the lease, they show a new building being built. They are just leasing the land.

That's interesting to hear about a Chic-fil-a being located there. Does anyone know what the crap happened with Sweet Peas? They were doing so well on South Parkway and then suddenly closed it and not long after that I see a sign on Governor's with Sweet Peas logo and a message saying "Coming Soon". Well that was over 6 months ago it seems.

I have no idea, the old KFC on South Parkway has the same green/grey paint scheme of the building on Governors that was to be Sweet Peas.

will be great for downtown. Lot of construction coming to that area with the new patient tower going up
nearby.

There'll be some traffic issues at lunch, but otherwise it'll be fine.

Not sure that a location downtown will affect Madison/County Line Road one way or the other since they're so far away ... 10-15 miles.
