Not job loss related but a significant development at the MDA. This just came out on today's Huntsville Times, though his behavior is widely known for quite sometimes in MDA & its prime contractors.

Quote:
Missile Defense Agency Director Lt. Gen. Patrick J. O'Reilly “"demeaned and belittled" employees, sometimes in public, "“yelled and screamed at subordinates," and "“engaged in a leadership style that was inconsistent with standards expected of senior Army leaders" and violates regulations, according to an investigation by the Department of Defense Inspector General obtained by Josh Rogin and posted in The Cable, a blog of Foreign Policy magazine.

I'm glad this is coming out, at least in some form. Most people at MDA know that he has no business running that agency or any agency. Many are counting down the days when he is out of there.

yeah a story about a story they don't know anything about. The only reporting is that WHNT can say
"you saw it first on channel 19" big woop.
But the problem is real and will destroy the US economy if something isn't worked out.
2 million jobs may be lost? Walmart can't hire that many people.

Amazing our biggest enemies and threats to freedom are putting more money into their military and we are weakening ours while expanding social programs so more people can sit around and be completely dependent on the government. Very slippery slope we are on.

Gee if we continue to "talk about" cutting miliary spending, instead of the US spending more than the next 14 nations combined, we might only surpass the top 12! We all need to be concerned for our safety!

The best social program is jobs, private, or government. Now they want to eliminate some of the best sources of taxpayers in the country. Along with it will be spinoffs (restaurants, retail, hospitality etc) and technology.
Yet we will continue to funnel billions into countries that have basically stayed the same for hundreds of years.
