Well, hear this, I recently attended a meeting here in Phoenix, which btw was also attended by your friend the emasculated Joe arpaio, where it was reported that the crossings into Arizona have increased dramatically, (almost 100%) in recent months since the word SOB is that there is more work in the farms up here, I don't know how that plays out with your "theme".......

The U.S. can give out more visas, just monitor them better once they get here. The government is lazy and just loses track of these workers and they end up being here forever. There needs to be a better system for these people, and there won’t be such a problem. Illegal immigrants would love to get visas. Each time one of them applies for a visa, it costs them 600 dollars, just to be turned down. Lines wrap around embassy buildings in foreign countries, with people going in praying for a visa and crying when they come out rejected for no reason. WE DON’T LET ANYONE IN. It’s terrible. They don’t wanna pay to come here, walk through the desert with no clothes, water, or money to get here. Some get raped, thrown in jail, and even killed on the way over. They get here and can’t even get a good job, or respect from anyone. They miss their families. They have trouble getting liscenses, apartments, learning a new language, everything. It isn’t easy for them. If getting a visa was so easy, they’d all have one. Besides, who is doing the damage here? The American border patrol allows these illegals to come in; they just take some money and it’s a done deal. Should those cops be deported too? And let’s not forget how many of our own ancestors came here illegally not so long ago. No one knows to what lengths they would go to support their families unless they’ve been there. I bet any one of you would do what you had to do to feed your kids. Everyone thinks of immigration as a whole; statistics about how many illegals are here, how many jobs they are taking, how many kids they have. What about individuals? The statistics only got this high by individuals coming over for their own personal reasons. Just because they happen to be born in a different country (borders are only man-made anyway) doesn’t mean they deserve any less than we do. They are culturally different—that is why they speak a different language, have more kids than we do, and live with more people in their houses. This culture difference doesn’t make them any less equal than we are or any less privileged to have basic human rights. We are lucky to have been born here. Others weren’t so lucky, and it isn’t their fault. And what does anyone care about how many people live in their house? There are hospitable; they help their friends and family who need places to stay, that’s all!
Sheesh, just what we need. Another poster trying to rationalize lawbreaking by recycling the same old, stale, and worn out La Raza talking points.

Actually, the United States owns this piece of land.

Of course they would -- in fact they demand they be given citizenship as their reward for breaking our laws and coming here illegally.

The USA takes in BY FAR more legal immigrants than any other country in the world, the population of the USA is rising extremely fast - one of the fastest in the world, mostly do to massive immigration levels. The population is doubling every few decades.

Like it or not, there are over 2 billion impoverished people in the world who would all like to come here and be citizens, but we cannot possibly take them all in.

And - name one other country that has no immigration laws of any kind like you suggest the USA? Even Mexico has immigration laws -- much stricter than those of the USA in fact.

Proof please. Untill you can supply a link...........I will say you are lying because your DREAMie friends' backs are against the wall.

BTW: I happen to live here in the Phx area and I have seen with my own two eyes the dramatic decline of at least Hispanic illegal aliens. Far more empty apartments/houses, quite a few food stores and other businesses that cater to a (mostly) lower end Hispanic clientele (Food City) have closed down along with the sharp drop off of foreign kids in our schools

And you as a U.S. citizen are gleeful about this, why? You do realize that we have immigration laws and quotas for good reasons, don't you? You do realize that we have soveirgn borders just like any other country, don't you? You do realize that we are no longer a wide open frontier with a vast amount of natural resources and jobs for everyone, don't you? You do realize that our population is over 300 million now, don't you? You do realize that our schools, jails and hospitals are bursting at the seams now, don't you? You do realize that is isn't only those looking for work that are coming here, don't you? Do you realize that criminals, the unhealty and terrorists are also slipping through, don't you? You do realize who is having to foot the bill for their social costs, don't you? I could go on and on but you just plain don't give a damn do you? Just as long as most of those illegals are from your ethic group and continue to come that's all that matters, right? What's the matter, isn't Hispanics being the majority in 22 countries on the Western Hemishere enough for you? What's next, Canada?

All true.

The USA is a 'guilty' society. Most others are not. Thus the difference you've noted.

The word? Whose word, yours? Let's see some proof here. Everyone I see posting from AZ says the criminal alien element head count is way down.

Man power. National Guard units with new recruits doing 6 months of border duty with a few border agents per team.
Technology. Predator drones with ground penetrating radar to map tunnels. Israel proved how effective the technology is in their disgraceful attack on Gaza.
Border check points. We actually check every car entering.
Ports. We actually check every ship that enters. We do have a Navy and Coast Guard. Our Navy is not over worked nor is the Coastguard.
What we lack are honest government officials who feel that the Priority should be what is good for the USA. Clearly granting amnesty or VISA's to any applicant is not good for the USA.
