I think it's called penalizing them because they broke the law. Yes, of course go after the people that hire the illegals as well. I think we can do both. However, when we allow them EIC, that encourages them to come and try to get a job.

No, having them pay taxes isn't called penalizing. When we go after illegals, we are basically saying illegal workers are welcome in this country as long as they help pad our tax income system. That is called taking advantage of illegals. If we cared about getting rid of illegals, taxing them for their work isn't the way to do it.

At the same time, if we don't want them to break the law in order to get here, giving them money to come and work here illegally doesn't send a message to stop, either. It's definitely not fair to the people who go through the process of getting here legally, that they have to pay taxes, yet the people that cut in line don't.

To the tune of 13-16 billion. What's 5 billion more to make sure we get 18 million more moonbats sucking the teet of welfare and entitlements.

Massive Fraud Still Rampant in EIC Program

They should be in jail awaiting a bus to where ever they came from not getting thousands in money they are not entitled to. Illegals have no rights under the laws that govern US citizens. They are not US citizens period.

Actually both would be paying taxes because they both currently pay taxes. Why should illegals be paying taxes? They shouldn't be given jobs to begin with. That is on those that hire illegals. We allow this because it pads our tax system.

And how will that curb illegals in this country? The person who hires illegals will just hire more illegals. We should be jailing those that hire illegals if we want to stop illegals from coming here. But the reality is, no one wants to stop illegals from coming here because we make money off of them by taking advantage of illegals.

Well, maybe some RW radio hack or FOX jock interpreted it for him so he wouldn't have to read it.

This country is on the verge of going down the tube. The working (w) man is the one footing the bill for these cockroaches and it's not FAIR to us, not one bit.

Unbelievable.

Illegals don't have choices like not coming here in the first place because it is against the law (and let's not hear the lame lies that they are starving in their homelands or that they are only doing jobs that Americans refuse to do either) and then the poor babies are being taken advantage of against their will? How about we use the income taxes that "some" pay to cover their enormous social costs? How anyone can sympathize with these law breaking leeches is beyond me. Yes, the employers are guilty also but at least I admit they both are while the illegal alien sympathizers think the illegal aliens themselves are innocent little exploited babies that have no control over their own choices in life. It doesn't get any more bazzaro than that.
