And how will that curb illegals in this country? The person who hires illegals will just hire more illegals. We should be jailing those that hire illegals if we want to stop illegals from coming here. But the reality is, no one wants to stop illegals from coming here because we make money off of them by taking advantage of illegals.

What about the illegals, that have SS #s and false IDs? Will they get to double dip? Change to real name and get SS # for that name and boom, another refund.

Exactly, there is no "we" are making money off of them. It is only the greedy employers and Joe cheapskate that do. The rest of us "we"s" get to foot the bill for their social costs and enjoy less jobs opportunities and reduced wages. Not to mention our crowded schools, jails and hospitals.
If the OPs story is true it is yet another outrage perpetrated by Obama on the backs of the American working people. IF, for whatever reason we elect to allow criminal aliens to stay in this country, they should be paying a fine for every year they were here illegally, and a hefty fee now that they are allowed to stay legally. At this least this would offset the costs of services they receive. We should not be rewarding criminals with more welfare.
Why should illegals be paying taxes? They shouldn't be given jobs to begin with. That is on those that hire illegals. We allow this because it pads our tax system.
What makes you think they were paying income tax? If they had no SS Number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (because they were here illegally) prior to Obama's EO, how would they have been paying income tax?

Not only that but because many of them have numerous dependents any income taxes they pay in they get back in the form of a refund at the end of the year. Many qualify for the EIC and get back more than they paid in. What about those who work under the table? They aren't paying any income taxes. They send billions out of our economy to their homelands also. Yes, go after the employers by implementing e-verify in very workplace but the illegal aliens aren't the innocents in all of this either. They are equally guilty by coming here in the first place and knowingly working without authorization.

No, by allowing them to remain here legally we are rewarding their criminal behavior. Will those that have committed felony ID theft be allowed to remain? Of course! Is that fair? Of course not! Not only that but who is going to monitor them paying back taxes, fines, learning English, etc. and at what cost to the taxpayer? Our government can't even keep track of visa overstayers. What about the jobs they are working? Don't we need to free those up for the American worker? Nope, remove all the incentives for them to remain here and to continue to come here. No amnesty, period!
