^^^ They all lie. It has always galled me no end that we teach our children to share, to be kind, to work hard, to respect their elders, to tell the truth, etc., etc., and yet what do adults do? They do the opposite.

Ronald Reagan was opposed to illegal immigration and amnesty. In fact, if you do a little research you will find that stopping illegal immigration was part of the Republican National Committee’s platform back then and Ronald Reagan ran on that platform.
The 1986 Immigration Reform Act that rewarded illegal aliens with amnesty was known as the Simpson-Massoli bill of 1986. When first drafted, the bill was suppose to make it a criminal offense for aliens who were not authorized to work in the United States a federal criminal act and that it would be a federal crime for employers to hire illegal aliens.
Here's what happened, the Democrats in Congress refused to sign on this bill unless the 1.5 million illegal aliens already thought to be in the country illegally and would qualify for amnesty were rewarded amnesty. (reason being, if these illegal’s were to become U.S. citizens, guess what party they would most likely vote for ? )
So the amnesty part was added on to the bill, other wise the Democrats wouldn't sign on. And to muffle the out cry, the American people were told that this amnesty was a one time thing and would never be repeated again.
Well the bill passed both houses of Congress and President Reagan signed the bill. In the inner circles of the administration, Ronald Reagan was to have said he may have made a mistake by signing the bill.
Guess what ?, it wasn't 1.5 million illegal aliens who would have qualified for amnesty. It turns out that over 3 million were rewarded with amnesty, mostly because of the fraud that took place during the amnesty process. Phony rent receipts, phony pay check stubs, liberal judges expunging criminal records of illegal aliens!!!
And after the bill became law, you had Teddy Kennedy watering down the enforcement part of the bill that had to do with enforcing and prosecuting employers who hired illegal aliens.

A lot of people do not like to hear the truth. Americans are not the only ones saying "we do not want to pay to raise your children." I have friends in Europe who are saying the same thing. Illegals, and many Americans, too, seem to think they have no responsibility to plan and only bring into the world the number of children they can afford. We see a big demonstration of this problem every year at back to school time.
Turn on the evening news, and sooner or later in August or early September, you will see some reporter for one of the networks interviewing mums in a long queue waiting to get FREE school supplies for their kids. I cannot bear to watch it anymore. Last time I watched as the reporter interviewed one young woman who was probably in her mid twenties at most. She had 5-6 children with her and was telling the reporter that she cannot afford school supplies for them. She said she could not afford it for one of them much less all of them. Okay, I buy that, but the question is if you KNEW you could not afford simple school supplies for even one child, why have you given birth to 5-6 of them for heaven's sake?!?! Half the time the kids are all out of different stables, too, if you know what I mean. There is no commitment of any kind between these men and women other than to get high or drunk and have irresponsible sex. It is like gluttons at a banquet who keep gorging themselves hand over fist without bothering to use knives, forks, and napkins.
I am in favour of good sex as much as the next person, but for heaven's sake, we all know unprotected sex can result in unwanted pregnacies not to mention communicable diseases. Have all the sex you want, but use contraceptives and do all you can not to become pregnant and/or pass on diseases. Why on earth should we even have to tell someone this in this day and age post the birth control pill, post the AIDS epidemic, and post modest, responsible films and telly programmes coming out of Hollywood? Most 13 year olds (or younger) know how babies are made for heaven's sake! These are irresponsible adults who come from long lines of irresponsible adults. That is long and the short of it.

I was looking at this documentary last night. This problem is worldwide. Look at these people in England. They have 5, 7, 9, or perhaps more kids and expect their benefits to cover rent in the capital city---the most expensive city in the country. Their benefits are more than working people can make, so the government took a stand---move somewhere that is more affordable for you and your brood of kids. They have the nerve to protest this. Unbelievable. This is the same mentality we face with the illegals and the refugees here. The problem is not unique to the U.S. by any means. The men cannot keep it in their trousers, and the women cannot keep their knees together. They expect the rest of society is supposed to pay to raise their children.

Right now, the Biden administration is allowing it, but the fact is both parties have allowed this to continue for many decades. Each year it has gotten worse and worse, and now we are in desperate crisis thanks to our government. They should have stopped this way back in the 1970s at which time it was already at epidemic proportions, but it was not a priority for either party.
