Time to Federalize the Texas National guard and order it to Korea or somewhere else far away, then send 1,000 CBP agents and US Marshals to take over the areas seized by Abbott's stupidity. CBP has the authority to process illegal immigrants. The state of Texas does not.
No one has authority to process illegal immigrants. The law says they must be arrested/deported.

The Constitution does support a state in protecting itself from an "invasion", which has already been noted in this thread a few times. Maybe that poster is ignoring it because they don't feel it's an invasion for some odd reason?

The United States need more technology at the Mexican and Canadian border use drones cameras, motion detection along border and few miles away in remote areas. A 360 camera with night vision to detect people crossing. Build 40 feet wall at Mexican border with triple layer steel wall, razor wires at bottom and top. The wall have motion detection. Hire more judges and use AI look at claims after human approve or disapprove the claim. Reform immigration I would say skilled workers like doctors, nurses, construction, engineers, tech startups with futuristic ideas can move to USA on 2 year permit but in good standing as well background check it would be 10 year green card can be renewed. Normal workers at farm, factories as well. You would have 250,000 skilled workers and 150,000 normal workers per year. The family and marriage visa would stay the same.

I am pretty sure the 2 other branches (legislative/Congress and judicial/SCOTUS) are not on board with Biden’s open border policy

Oh they know it's an invasion they just don't care because they have a vested interest in illegal immigration. They either hire them for profit, are bleeding heart liberals without a brain in their heads or they have ethnic or "personal" ties to them. I suspect the latter most of the time by the posters in here.
