Most that support illegal immigration fall into one of two categories: 1. They are liberal. 2. They personally benefit from the presence of illegals - both need to be detained and deported and shipped out with those people that they hold above our own citizens.

I don't give a darn what color someone is, these people need to be detained and deported, but those that want to favor them over our own citizens always whine that it is because they are brown. Got news for you, we take more legal immigrants from the countries they come from then any place else in the world.

We won't get the slaughterhouse. Those with serious investments in town don't want to see it become a "dive", and the needed information has been circulated.

Trump did very well in Iowa. I had heard yesterday that when polled just before the caucus and asked what the most important issues were to the Republicans, the first was "immigration". I was surprised that the economy came in 2nd, but also thrilled that people, well some people, are waking up to the plague that illegal immigration is now that we have spread the "blessing" that these people bring to the streets of our cities!

Detain and deport. Let them go home and complain there about the food and shelter they are provided, because I am tired of hearing them complain here.
Millions of illegal aliens should be deported and I don't give a damn what their skin color is either but these pro-illegals just love to play the race/skin color card because it's the only card they have to defend their lawbreaking.

"Sleeves rolled up ready to help build the country." vs "Hands out and pregnant asking what do I get."

I lived near South Bend, IN, and there were many ethnic groups there with businesses, and my hometown was the end of the Underground Railroad, so I saw diversity as a child. They earned a living, and built a life not one dependent on taxpayers.

I would have to say that Asians are generally very motivated to achieve, as I worked with several from different countries over time. My DIL and grandson are both Filipino, but citizens now, and my grandson's dream was to be in the military when he graduated, and he has realized that dream. It was SO important to my DIL to take the citizenship test, and she was very proud when she became an official citizen. My Korean friend told me that she gave their daughter an American name (born in the US) because her daughter was an American. Gosh, she and her husband worked so hard, and worked even harder and waited to get to come to their new country.

The jobs open to those coming in do not pay enough to live on, thus they become dependent on public assistance through their anchor babies. The reason the jobs are open is because citizens realize they cannot live on the income provided, and they don't want to get public assistance. Most jobs illegals are qualified for are disappearing due to technology, and you know what they say about "idle hands".
Many of those low paying jobs have flooded our economy so an employer can make a quick buck and they aren't needed and we sure don't need to import foreigners for them who end up being a tax burden on our society.

...don't forget the 'greedy' employer 'provides a service' to his/her customers.

I think skin color plays a role in the irate responses, but it is not the only factor. Reality remains illegals are fulfilling a need of the nation. It is mostly fear that consumes the most virulent of the illegal immigrant antagonists. While we need a better system of immigration, until we get that, this non-system is the system. There will be a point where calmer heads sit at a table and make pragmatic choices.

It sickens me the amount of videos I've seen lately about seniors living in their cars, vans, out on the street - rent going up so high they can't afford it and are kicked out. Are many on the streets druggies and have psych problems - yes - but then you have a lot of elderly out there through no fault of their own.

I'd rather spend the money helping our own homeless - those with drug problems - put them in treatment - those who need psych help - commit them until they are well.

The greedy employers only provide a service to themselves by pocketing the profits from their cheap, illegal workers while passing little to nothing on to the consumer except their enormous social costs which far outweighs any so-called benefits of them working here. They and their illegal workers avoid taxes by being paid under the table. Those on a payroll have committed felony ID theft!

These greedy employers are discriminating against American workers in their hiring practices because they want cheap, illegal labor instead. These Americans have been run off their construction jobs for example and they have families to feed. The pro-illegals don't care though they just tell them "oh well, go find another job then". I am ashamed that we have those kinds of Americans in our country that have no respect for our laws and their fellow Americans.

There has always been a simple remedy - abolish all [socialist] taxes on labor and industry. In fact, make America a TAX HAVEN.
Without an advantage for hiring "undocumented" labor, there won't be jobs for them at the expense of native labor.
Without [socialist] freebies, there is no benefit for "anchor babies."
And if you're not a citizen / national / legal, you can't get "free" education (at the taxpayer's expense).
DEPORTATION ASAP for those who have no means of support.
. . .
But when did any government give up taxes and power?
. . .
[Addendum : don't blame "greedy" business. Government takes an aggregate of 44% of the GDP, and the FEDS own 26% of the country. The only one getting fat and sassy is the government.]

There is no innocent party here. Our government, the greedy employers and the illegal aliens themselves are equally to blame and are violating our immigration laws.

Although, I agree with much of your plan even with it in place the greedy employers will still want cheap, illegal labor.

So for you it is a financial issue. If it were shown they provided more value through their work than they were taking, you would be ok with all the illegals. If numbers were provided that demonstrated this were the case, would your mind change?

LOL. We both know that you do not have those "numbers".

Whether people like it or not, the illegal's work completed creates value to the US economy, and those types of numbers aren't ever taken into account by people virulently devaluing their contributions.
