Instead of trying to enforce immigration laws, maybe we should loosen them up and welcome in these hard working citizens.
Our social service network would collapse over night. We aren't getting Doctors and Engineers sneaking across the border we are getting unskilled peasants.

Better yet: how about reverting our immigration laws back to 1965?

Since so many people wish to immigrate to the USA: we can cherry pick whom we let in. If it means that Mexico is aced out once past its quota----------too damn bad.

Baloney! If U.S. industries are short on American workers (but they aren't anyway) they can use the visas available to them for LEGAL foreign workers. Ridiculous the way you describe all these illegal aliens as "hard working". They aren't any more hard working than anyone else and some of them are lazy just like any other group. Some of them are hardened criminals also. I am sick of people like you who are so anti-American and continually try to sugar coat illegal immigration as all positive and refuse to see the overwhelming negatives.

Just more desperation on the part of the pro illegals----------intuitively; they know it is over but will not admit to it.

Wow, this is ridiculous. Seriously, effing ridiculous. You have posted articles that stated immigration in a general tone in the past. So get the eff over it. For Christ's effing sake.

Its not a good situation for Americans. We would have been better off without them and on our own. Money made in your local communities by illegals is not SPENT in YOUR local community. It sent back to Mexico to help their families and bring more illegals to the US. Its called "flight of capitol" and it drains off the money from your local community. Imagine for example that your teen aged son could buy a truck and some garden stuff and easily get a job working in your neighborhood doing landscape maintenance and earn 20 -30 $ per hour CASH btw. Now he spends the money locally. This is good on multiple levels, your kid gets a job, healthy job, good pay, now has options, the community is helped when he expands his life with purchases. But that has been ruined by the illegals. They take up ALL of these entry level jobs that OUR YOUTH NEED to get launched. The illegals are VERY COMPETITIVE ABOUT THIS BTW and they clan together to ONLY help ONE ANOTHER. You think you are helping them out, once they have the power YOU WILL BE KICKED TOTHE CURB. DONT HIRE ILLEGALS AND DONT BUY INTO THE LIE THAT THEY ARE ACTUALLY GOOD FOR AMERICA. I would happily help them ALL pack their bags and pay to get them out of our country if it was on a ballot. They are not AMERICANS they are ONLY ABOUT THEIR RACE. do you see what is happening in LA? Have you listened to the dialoge on the spanish radio stations? Its not about YOU! its about THEM. WAKE UP!

Okay, then riddle me this: If there truly is a plentiful supply of cheap labor in the U.S., then why do employers hire illegals at the risk of sanctions and penalties for their companies? Why not just dip into this mythical cheap labor pool of lily white U.S. citizens?

Illegal aliens fill a need by working hard in low-paying jobs. That is why we have them.

a)Because it is cheaper for the employer.

b)Because they have a real good chance of getting away with it.

Don’t illegals eat? And use gasoline in their cars? Did they bring their cars with them from Mexico? (Hmmm, Maybe the low-riders can get under the fences more easily.) Do they buy clothes? TVs and consumer electronics? Don't they buy anything?

If illegal aliens don’t spend any money in the U.S. then they should be easy to catch at the border. They will be the ones carrying immense suitcases full of all the goods and products that they won’t buy in America.

Is this true? In a post above it said illegal gardeners make $30 per hour. That doesn’t sound cheap to me. Fact is, in many low-skilled jobs illegals make pretty close to minimum wage. Problem is, we can’t find U.S. citizens willing to fill these same minimum wage jobs.

Very true. Our gov’t purposely doesn’t enforce immigrations laws because we NEED illegal aliens.
