You might as well get a super senior cat like I have where I can only feel good about leaving the house for 5-6 hours tops.

I'm only asking because I am interested (after we get our correction/crash).
Hopefully, you can still manage it with your phone.

Since MJ is silent I believe that means he has no counter argument. I assume that is the reason he has added money (to rebalance more than once).

sure it could sit unmanaged….but for anyone who wants hands off it’s not for you .

it counts on specific relationships. i did not need to rebalance yet but i did automatically when i added money . but it wasn’t at a point it needed a thing done yet

in fact any portfolio with specific allocations isn’t for them since except for 100% equities one needs to get involved occasionally when required.

any portfolio can grow to heavily weighted in something if not monitored

It begs the question how many fees will add up and how much time.

huh ? who cares , there are no other fees .the funds trading price includes all there is.

like i said

expenses for dbmf .85% , upro .92 tyd 1.1%. vs voo .03. bnd .03

i was able to go back to jan 2020 , so almost 4 years

a 60/40 consisting of 60% voo (s&p fund )and 40% bnd ( total bond fund ) took 100k and turned it in to 126,130 , a cagr of 6.11%

the 60/40 carolina reaper took a 100k grew it to 136,260 ,a cagr of 8.22%

WORST DOWN YEAR WAS MINUS 2.57% for the reaper with a worst draw down of 9.45%

the conventional 60/40 had a worst year of minus 16.16 % and a worst draw down of 20.15%

which would you have preferred? the low fee 60/40 or the reaper ?
