Right, because I only apply to jobs for which I'm unqualified.

Look you Mozzarella Stick, I had marketing experience probably just not enough for what they wanted for that position.

I always make sure I have experience in whatever position I'm applying for.

no.... i like it.....'-) as his pursuers pursue him, he throws food from his backyard at them, and we wonder or used to wonder at his persistent wish to make the world live by his rules...and not the tarnished reality that we all live by, which the recent college engineering student wisely pointed out in his posts. to T.v.guy..

Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your recent application for the position of Electronic Marketing Assistant at the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance. We received over 300 applications, and the process was extremely competitive. Based on our current needs for the position, we are unable to offer you an interview at this time. I'm sorry that this was not a fit but wish you every success in your search.

Is this not a POINTLESS email? I mean I would have pretty much figured I was not selected after never receiving a phone. I should email the person back and ask are they on medication-lol
Actually I thought it was kind of nice of them so you don't wait around and wonder.

Maybe he needs to investigate employment as a copywriter for some marketing firm. "Mozzarella stick" and "potted plant" have possibilities. I'm not sure for what, but they definitely have possibilities!

You are pretty good yourself!!!

but I know a guy who did advertising here in the states and in the U.K. and he had an english degree.

Also, I used to know a lot of advertising people and a lot of them had english/communication degrees.

But you do have to start at the bottom buidling a portfolio...but at 35,000 it shouldn't take to long to get that figure, if you are good.

However, it is a VERY Stressfull field, so with further reflection, it would probably be no good for T.V. guy, but I am impressed with his food flinging abilities..in the face of adversity ;-)

I'm not sure if posting a job wanted ad in the Men seeking Men section of craigslist counts as "marketing experience."

I used to promote job trainings throughout the city back in 2003.
