I had forgotten he was headed to Oregon State

About that time was the (in)famous stealth Heisman winner, OSU QB Terry Baker

Never heard of him? That's why I called him stealth He is more famous for being unknown that known as a Heisman winner

See wut y'all can lern from me?

Happy Easter!

As I perused this morning obituaries I came across one that all of you should remember. Lowell E. "Gene" Cable passed away at age 96. Gene served our nation in WWII in the Army Air Corp. After the war he attended MU and then began his automotive career in Columbia, then St. Louis before purchasing the Chevrolet dealership at Truman & Main in 1956.

HAPPY EASTER ALSO !!

Back then we all seemed to know the local dealerships Probably a result of their proximity and advertising

Hopefully his last many years were reasonably healthy, as he appeared to lead a good life

Another of the few remaining The Greatest Generation
