Well, these are a mix of some I took today (April 13, 2011) in northeast Tennessee down to Knoxville and back.... so basically these were taken between Tri-Cities and Knoxville.

Pics below taken on April 13, 2011. I will start with the Knoxville Tennessee pics first, then the lower pics as we head back home in NE Tennessee... some of these were taken in downtown Knoxville.... (ironic that Knoxville is rated as the #1 city for allergy problems, LOL)

more to follow below....

Nope. These were from the other day. I won 4 tickets to Disney Live so I had to go down to Johnson City to pick them up. I figured I might as well head out to E-ton. Things are still not as green as I wanted for IR. Going to wait until about June before I go to Roan Mountain for some scenics and more IR.

Infrared is where you pick up only a narrow range of reflected light.. the infrared range. If the white balance is correct with processing false colors... green grass will then become white.

Look at page 39 for 2 more False Color IR shots I did at Laurel Run State Park. Where there is white leaves.. it was green to the eyes.

Love that shot, BP72. In case folks don't know, I believe that is the "Narnia" themed playground; plus it has some special features for handicapped kids. Love it!

Picnic area at Jacobs Creek Recreation Area in Sullivan County, off Denton Valley Road. There's also a small campground here:

View of Holston Mountain from Bluff City's Riverside Road:

The Edward Cox House is on Sells Rd. in Bluff City. Built in 1773 or 1774, I believe this may be the oldest building in TN:

Administration building on Virginia Intermont's campus in Bristol, VA:

Neat house on Euclid Ave. in Bristol, VA:

This Yellow-crowned Night-Heron was resting about 20 yards off Kingsport's Greenbelt:

This portion of the greenbelt was living up to its name last week:

I know exactly where that house is on Euclid. When I worked on the Va. side... this was along my route to get to work. I would love to own that place.
