Based on my records for my car, truck, and two motorcycles, my vehicles get better gas mileage using gasoline without ethanol in it. Unfortunately it is almost impossible to find stations selling pure gas anymore. One even told me it was now a federal law requiring ethanol in all gas. To my knowledge the only station in the Bristol area still selling pure gas is Cedar Creek Market on Weaver Pike-at least they had a sign up saying that last week. Anyone know of any other strations in the Tri-city area selling gas without ethanol in it? TIA

Also Food Country "fast gas" on Highway 394 between Blountville and Bristol has non-ethanol gas. I normally make a special trip there just for it. I get about 3-5 more MPG on average with that gasoline.

Right there were across from Fun Expedition, El Matador, and New Beginnings where North Roan forks off into N. Roan and The Bristol Highway. If I'm not mistaken, all Chevrons still have ethanol free gas, at least all the ones I've seen do.
Oh, and the gas house on Roan right next to Northside Elementary still has ethanol free gas (I know because they had a sign that said "We still have REAL GAS, not that ethanol crap")

The Chevron stations that used to have pure gas now have ethanolized gas. That includes Windsor at the Parkway, Pit Row on 394, and 11E at Piney Flats. I've checked all three. Bummer.

That reminds me of the sign in the window at Paul's Mall. If you get stopped just right at the red light, you can read most of it. My favorite line is "The opposite of progress is Congress!"

There is a Volco gas station located on Roan Street, across the street from Perkins Restaurant. I know they sell gas without ethanol. There hours are during the week until 6 or 7 oclock. On Saturday they are open until 12 noon and closed on Sunday. Depending on which way you are coming they are on the side of the street where Peerless restaurant is located. There is also the same Volco gas station located down in Jonesborough, almost directly across the street from the new jail on 11E.
