I came here to say exactly this! And they mostly live in grotty North Las Vegas where the "locals" would never live because its horrible and not Summerlin or Henderson. And Nellis also brings in numerous people from other bases for training exercises and they pump money into the town. Nellis must be the second biggest employer after the strip.
