Now that is a beautiful sight! Can't wait to get there either and I totally understand what you mean about being on the Strip or not. While there in July, I went down for one day and only about an hour at that. Wish I had gone more, but for some reason I feel like since I can go there more than once a year, I take it for granted. LOL.

That is a great photo Von. Just looking at it, makes me want to be there! Nowhere like it
in the world. Sometimes, when my wifes 86 year old mother is asked why she makes the
hard journey to Las Vegas once a year, she says "because it's magical." Could'nt say it
better myself!!

Exactly English Dave. So true. I just looked at that photo and thought to myself how much I can't wait to look out my window and see the Strip haha. It really inspires a sense of excitement that for me is just gone from where I live. I've always enjoyed Las Vegas, and been a very unconventional person, so it's going to be ideal for me to live on the Strip.

Then again, I say that kind of tongue-in-cheek, considering I own a condo free-and-clear in Long Beach, CA, and am buying another condo up in my home city of Portland, OR. Even if I was tired of the Vegas lifestyle for a bit, it's not as if I don't have two other cities I can go and live any time I feel like it haha.

I never tire of Las Vegas. I'd visit more than twice a year, but my wife says the journey
just kills her, with the trip with her mother, she visits three times a year. Took my son
last April, so the seed has been planted in him as well! He is making plans for LV with his
girlfriend. Once you've been, it stays in your mind, and you want to go again.

A nice place really for the young crowd for sure. As you get older woudl you want to endure 110 degree dry heat for 5 months? statistics don't lie. per capita it is the most crime ridden city; gambling, prostitution, drugs. But hey we live for excitement, so the heck with that, live it up. roll em' shake em' and win. but not 365 days a yr. A week or two is nice for me

Some people would rather be in the dry heat as they age as it is better on their joints. Doctors recommend it. Depends where you are coming from. I would rather endure a few 110 degree days than ONE day below zero stuck in my house!
