Ok, so where is the fastest place to get tickets?

Spare me the "odds of winning" stories please.

One night during a visit in the Summer of 2016 I was part of a conversation with three really old guys at the Starbucks near Pebble and Eastern. They were cracking me up with some of the things they brought up. One item was a debate about which is a better destination for lottery tickets...Kingman or Barstow.

A few minutes ago I did a regular internet search re that question to see what would come up.

One of the search results = a CD thread from 2012:

I was hoping for updated information, that old thread suggests the now closed Rosie's Den

Drove past Primm, it is a disaster even at 8.30am.

Next gas station shell 20mins down the road. Looks like a 10 minute wait in line.

Wait has grown, probably closer to 30mins now

I would avoid the big crowd at Primm so I would drive to Nipton CA down the road and off the I-15 and get my ticket while enjoying the ride in the open desert

Yeah that's what I did. I'm glad I stopped in Primm to witness the craziness myself however.

Make sure you ask for a receipt, you can return any tickets you don't want up to 24 hours after the drawing.

25 min wait at around 9am on Friday

Both jackpots were hit, so they are much lower now

FYI: Do NOT go to Nipton now at it is renewing their lotto license and can't sell tickets for some 30 days. Went there yesterday myself after Primm where at 7:50 in the morning and before opening they already had hundreds of people in line!
