Tabasco doesn't give you gas. If it did, Guam would be the stinkiest place on Earth. The people there use an average of two regular size bottles per person, per year. Talk about hot stuff! The green jalapeno one is my least favorite, with the Chipotle, Habanero, and garlic ones being my favorites. The chipotle one is especially great on beans.

Any other Tabasco/hot sauce fans here?

You should try Sriracha, you'll never go back to any hot sauce again!

sriracha rocks. always have a bottle of that on hand.

other great stuff:

mexican - cholula (brand)
korean - go****ang (style)...lotsa different kinds. can't quite find the one that first turned me on to this stufff, but have been using Chinjung Hoechojang on everything lately
filipino - jufran banana sauce, hot (brand)...a friend gave me a bottle of this...great on pizza (as are sriracha, and the korean)

but if your talking southern food...gotta have the tabasco or other vinegar based sauces

edit...dunno why it won't let me enter the name of the korean sauce...go****ang

edit again....okay...the missing letters are c h u j...why that is tripping something i dunno

I think that I've seen that in the Asian section of most stores. I'll have to give it a try the next time I go to a Thai restaurant.

Hmmm...in Japanese, "chu" is one of the names/sounds for a kiss.

from Wikipedia...

C h u j might refer to:

Proper noun in several Slavic languages literally meaning needle, thorn, akin to choina - conifer tree, but commonly misused as very obscene expletive synonymous to p e n i s.
