My EMT license expired in 1995 or so, and I was a member of Southern Nevada Volunteer First Aid and Rescue.
Note the word volunteer. I didn’t do it for a living, but I did enjoy helping people, and managed to pick up some knowledge along the way. I only drove the ambulance once, so forgive me for not getting the reference.

Also, I was friends with Cyborg, a cabbie here and my uncle worked for Bell Trans, so can your not very subtle suggestions that I’m a snob about cabbies.

I had an in-law who was a EMT. One or more times, they were called to a place(s) where a person died and no one knew it for some time. I think over a year.


Thanks for contributing to society as a volunteer. I need to see if the college here needs any volunteer tutors for the subject I have my degree in.

I'm retired and on SSI. Sincw I get all of $30 a month since I'm in a skilled nursing facility. I have an electric wheelchair, so I rarely get out. I had a dream last night where my chair had a flat tire. I got up and walked. All I do these days are watch anime and movies and read books. I very rarely get visitors.

I've seen a couple of interesting things. The best one was when I pulled up to the Tropicana side of the NYNY. A young drunk couple was loaded in to the back of my cab. I happened to look back and see that she wasn't wearing any panties and I could see everythibg. It was quite a nice view.
