Recently the bomb squad blew up something like a duffel bag in the middle of the intersection of S Nellis and Vegas Valley (my nearest cross streets). Too bad they didn't have the robot check out the contents first. It was full of high end cameras and video equipment.

I had gone shopping not long before this.

Looks like living in East Vegas is going to be interesting.
Alrighty then! I am definitely crossing East Las Vegas off my list of possibilities.

On the whole, my complex is good. The people are friendly, and the rent isn't bad. I go shopping at the WalMart at S Nellis and Boulder Hwy at night, and I've never had a problem. It was probably a drug deal gone bad, and those can happen anywhere. Just don't do anything stupid, like telling off a hoodrat, and you'll be ok.

It's cheap there for a reason. You should never live anywhere where you are worried for your safety if you get home after dark.

I feel fine over here. There's a lot more to do than where I was, and they've got bookstores near here!

I've hooked up my desktop, but it's going to take a bit until I get everything up to speed.

I was watching the news last night, and this one has got to be one of the dumbest stories I have ever seen. I could not believe this even made the prime time news.

Any one besides me that is bored with the rumdum questions we've been getting? Should we stay at Circus Circus or Imperial Palace or should we buy in Green Valley or Summerlin? I'm seriously so frustrated with nothing to sink my teeth into, or any controversary, that I considering signing in under a new name and asking something that will shake things up a little bit.

Maybe people realize it is tough to get past the big guys in this forum so when they want a "meaty" conversation topic they go to other forums, like religion or politics where they are allowed more freedom?
