Getting on a plane tomorrow at 7:15 A.M. on my way to Las Vegas with a stopover in Mexico City for a few hours. If all goes well I will be Vegas's newest resident at 5:30 P.M. I will be staying at the Sahara for the first couple of weeks until I get a place in Green Valley. Just wanted to thank everyone again for all the help in the last few months.

I notice for the info on the 3rd of july fireworks at Seastrand park, that we can't bring chairs. I wonder if this means just the high backed and umbrella chairs? I have a set of folding low chairs, like beach lounge chairs. I suppose I will have to call during the week and see if I can speak to a human about it. I hate sitting on the ground even if it's on a blanket.
All the other years we never went into the main part where all the booths and crowds were. We stayed on the edge for easy access to the car when it was over and beat the traffic jams.

And by the way, the Aliante concert was nice and relaxing. Can't wait for the next one.

Oh. The only time I went it was at Nature Park and we sat on the grassy knoll. Now we go to my daughter's street where everyone does their own.

Bienvenido. I hope it all turns out well for you and your family. It takes some getting used to, but after a while no other place will ever be good enough.

Today is the 66th anniversary of D-day. I watched a programmelast night on TV which interviewed GI Veterans on theirmemories of that day. It was very moving. I'd like to pay tributeto those brave men. My father was a young boy, when he metsome of those brave men, he never forgot their kindness to him, he said they were full of fun and laughter, and in those dark dayswe sure needed some of that in England.

Yeah, I will be a few hours late, stuck in Mexico City. I am prepared for the heat. I worked in the sportfishing business in CR for over 10 years spending 250 days a year in the sun. I don't think we go over 100 to often but above 95 with humidity constantly. I'm more worried about my wife's skin. Everyone has warned her about that.
