Caio Caio Pizza sounds destined to be closed. Sort of like naming a Mexican restaurant The Adios Adios Cantina...or an American grill The Bye Bye BBQ.

Not even close, I've seen some thunderstorms that were SO MUCH worse than yesterday. The thunderstorms were actually refreshing, and the humidity was enjoyable too (its a nice adjustment when its dry all the time)

Anybody doing anything fun for 4th of July? My gf and I are going to go to Aliante Station tonight to see the fireworks

Talk about good timing with the rain before the 4th. It's almost as if mother nature knew half the city would probably catch on fire with people smuggling in illegal fireworks for today.

Geez, not again. Someone was stabbed to death this night outside of the Cosmopolitan.

There's a murder or an armed standoff with police practically every night. Even back in Boston in the worst neighborhoods it wasn't quite that violent. It's really bad for tourism when people are getting gutted on the strip though.

Saw 7 or 8 metro cars around 8 am this morning, along with Metro's CSI department. And (for some reasons unknown to me) a Veolia Transportation car

That is really bad for the Cosmopolitan IMO and the 2nd time in a matter of two weeks or so something like this has happened

I used to feel really safe, at least on the strip. I am going to be a little more aware of my surroundings from now on. I do not want to be the next stabbing victim.

We drive down and watch the fireworks at Red Rock. They are pretty decent and you don't have to deal with the Strip. We jsut drive up get out of our car on the side of Charleston and watch, get back in and go home.

Or if you don't mind watching tiny fireworks you can see everything if you pull off the 215 on the west side.

Not to downplay the violence, because it is terrible, but it seems as if the violence involves arguments. Keep to yourself and you will be fine. I still feel safe when I'm on the Strip.
