I heard on the local NPR this morning that Las Vegas performer Danny Gans passed away in his sleep early this morning. He was only 52. The story's already made it to the Chicago Tribune.

God's finger touched him, and he slept.

I made a thread on it this morning when I first heard it on the radio...I thought maybe it was a joke or hoax...but sadly, it was not...

I'm sure all of you regulars have already been to Valley of Fire. But ...

You might remember I asked about it on the regular board and MomMom gave some great suggestions.

Just to followup ... still $6 to get in, sights were great, visitors center was terrific, lost city museum was really good and Sugars Restaurant was WONDERFUL. We started late, so we missed the Lake Mead Cruise, but we'll get to it in a few weeks.
