Von, I wonder if maybe pollen/seeds got mixed in at some point and germinated in the same spot? I wish mine looked that good...first year of desert landscaping and I'm used to lush green foliage plants from the East coast ;-) I didn't cut mine back last fall and now they look dead!

I've been enjoying hundreds of mulberries off the tree in the public park next to where I live when I walk my dogs recently. It's funny to see people give me strange looks. I sometimes think folks seriously don't understand anything beyond go to supermarket...find prepackaged meal....eat.
