See, LVD, you took a chance, put yourself out there, and it worked.

Sometimes you just have to take a chance. Even if it doesn't work every time, the times it does make it worthwhile.

Sadly, we will not be doing our annual summer trip to Las Vegas this year. Had some bad experiences with our vacation rentals last year and we just need to reset. Had a real nice place set up and we were hoping to host a CD get-together. The guy bailed on us two weeks before and left us scrambling. From a four bedroom house with 2 acres he offered us a condo.

We're going to explore LA and San Francisco this year.

Maybe next summer we can find a nice place again!

Hey everybody, I really enjoyed meeting all of you! And yeah that includes you too LVDrunk And yes I do take credit for getting him home, thank you very much.

MacGeek, thanks for everything; it was a lot of fun no doubt. I like putting faces with names, although the Mac already has his out there.

ElleTea, it was fun doing the zip line with you. See, it wasn't that bad.

So I look forward to doing this again.

BTW, Timothy (who is not Asian) if you are reading this, I rode the Exscream on the top of the Stratosphere. I screamed like a maniac and it was the best $12 I ever spent! And I was stone cold SOBER! ;P
So you DID take my advice, great job. But I gotta tell you, you're CRAZY to do that

LVD, when you wandered away for a long time, we almost left you there..we figured you'd find your way home someday, or end up going home with some tourists from California.

Somehow, Timothyaw found me. Before that, I was starting to realize I would have to find my own way back. Luckily, the bus from Fremont runs 24 hours and would drop me off a half mile from my apartment. My friends from Phoenix were here a couple weeks ago, and I managed to get kicked out of the Cosmopolitan for bringing in a can of beer. Since I do not have a cell phone, I wound up having to walk the whole way home. That is why I wear my Z-coils when I go out.

Timothy found you because we both kept scanning the crowd, and then I spotted you, so he ran over to get you before you disappeared again. You need a leash. lol

I've got a quick question for anyone who might know...

Can an apartment complex suddenly start charging for the use of something (in this case the pool) even though my lease has a break down of what I owe and no mention of any amenities being of use only if I pay? The fee is small but I know the start of nickle and diming when I see it.
