^^^^^Love scallions especially on my ramen soup. I guess if I have patience with ornamental plants I can do the same with edible plants but I do have rosemary on my garden.

Because of the amount of constant direct sun light in this town, some veggies are relatively easy to grow out here. Tomatoes are number one on the list.

I'm a lazy gardener. I even forget to water my garden days at a time. Sometimes up to a week. Other days my daughter may over water or kick a soccer ball in it. Yet, it still produces pretty good results.

I have a tough garden.

Anyone have a good cardiologist that they can recommend? I would like a second opinion. Would be a cash pay and i just want them to look at 3 discs (pictures) of my aneurysm. I was told last week by my cardiovascular surgeon that I need open heart surgery in the very near future. I was told that I need the aneurysm repaired, replacement of aortic root, and replacement of ascending aorta. Bentall Procedure. I am 44 and in good shape so this is baffling to me especially with no symptoms. Can't get life insurance anywhere either... :>(

Leo Spaccavento is good.( I may have spelled that last name incorrectly, so use the term "Las Vegas" in addition to the name if you decide to google him.)

Seven Magazine just did a "best of" article on LV docs including cardiologists, and I was surprised to see that I actually agree with many of their recommendations, so you may want to google that article as well.

Good luck, Airics. you have had more than your share of troubles recently. They never come as single soldiers, do they? Life likes to throw everything at you at once.

If you go to Star or Plant World ( the latter being my favorite) and buy some cheap onion sets you wil have scallions damn near year round for about five bucks. They grow like weeds out here.
