The casinos already have enough uneducated pool of people to chose from.

Unemployment is now 12.3%, not approaching 16%. I do not know where you got that from. I am not a native, I am from Phoenix. It was the best decision I ever made to move here. Why do you not want people to move here? I agree most will fail, and head back home. It even happened to me the first time I tried to move here. But really, why do you care? I could really care less myself whether someone wants to move here or not.

What makes you think everyone who moves to Vegas is unhappy with their lives and poor?

Having people move into a city with a declining economy isn't a bad thing, take a course in economics and stop stereotyping all new residents as another person like you "uneducated pool of people".

Many of these people are investing in land, houses and businesses which only helps your local economy.

Some people are very happy living out here and some don't make it and leave. my point was a little sarcastic but some of the people moving out here think they can come in here make 90000 a year dealing cards our get a jobs on the strip and make allot of money in tips and make good living those are what i call gullible folks. when i lived here i worked at the bellagio as an security officer made 16 dollars an hour which was tough to live on here in Vegas. Maby you don't agree with me but allot of people moving out thinking their going to get rich.

Your posts makes absolutely no sense to me. You said you made 16 dollars an hour, but then you said it was tough to live on. No offense, but you had to be mismanaging your money somehow. I would be ecstatic to make 16 dollars an hour, and would be living quite well on it. I make $9.50 an hour, and still make it just fine so I do not understand this post at all.

Sounds like xfilesmulder might have a better grasp of how things really are.

Lots of calories in those drinks! Not to mention the next day you don't feel like doing anything but laying around and eating!! Been there...

No kidding? I have been interested in checking that out. My kids have the Wii. I don't have one here, so when I go back to MI, I am going to check it out for sure! After I get my shoulder checked out, I think I tore my rotator cuff! Can't lift my arm above my head or behind my back!!

That's awesome for your wife!!!

I'm not 100% normal, yet. I'm getting Direct TV installed next. I'm online via Clear WiMax, which is pretty cool. It's good pretty much anywhere in Vegas, plus a few other cities. They're going national in a few months.

The girls need to learn to settle down. I still need to find a home for my mom's yorkies. I need them to be quiet, since the rental staff thinks that I only have one dog, and I don't want them to know any different.

Shhh...
