We choose wine that will complement the meal. Thunderbird and Night Train are not wines we would ever choose with a meal.

That makes sense. I am the opposite. I never eat and drink at the same time. Call me crazy, but I really like Gallo wine. I do agree that Thunderbird and Night Train are just plain nasty. I have had more expensive wines before, but when I mean more expensive I mean $10-$20 a bottle. Maybe one time I will try a $50 bottle of wine as a treat.

I love the blackberry arbor mist. It is just a little too weak for me at only 6%.

LOL. Here is something I agree with, but that is because I am just not a wine drinker. I also do not really like to eat and drink alcohol. I don't know why, just don't. Also, I am just way to cheap to spend that much money on a bottle of anything! So, I just don't know the difference of a good wine used to complementing a meal or a bad one ruining it. Maybe one day, when I hit the lottery, I will try that!

I will say, that wine buzz is a fun one...until you wake up and then it is just plain wicked. Overdid that only once. Never again.

On a different note, I have been thinking about my life a lot since Davie managed to get a good job. He has inspired me to improve my own life. I have had my job now for over 4 years and have not looked for anything better in that time. My job is okay, but my apartment is not. I am literally going crazy in that terrible place being woken up all the time because of my neighbor upstairs. Now that it has warmed up outside it is full of roaches again. I woke up with roaches crawling on me. This is no way to live. I am stuck in this place because of my low paying job. I am ashamed to say I did not even clear $20,000 last year. I have not had a raise since I started and prices for everything is going up on top of that. I am either going to start looking for a second part time job OR try to get a better job altogether. I have not decided yet. I will admit I did not think Davie would be able to get a job on the strip but he proved me wrong. I am really proud of him for not giving up on his dream despite multiple setbacks. It is now my turn.

I never heard of arbor mist. I assume it is not a wine we could order at a nice restaurant. Is it the equivalent of Boones Farm or Annie Green Springs?

It is higher quality than those two and costs around $6 a bottle. It tastes really good but is weak alcohol wise.
