That's the problem. Every time I go and change my time to the correct one, pacific time, I go back in and it always reverts back to eastern time zone. I always save my settings. So it must be gremlins or something.

Now, on my way to a dr. appt with daughter #2 to check on her progress and make sure all is well.

Thanks so much for asking!

That's Great! My daughter was a great baby, I was very lucky! Seems to be giving it all in the 3 and 4 years. LOL

If my car were a horse, I'd shoot it.

No, but I'm going to kill it any day now. I need to get the bloody thing to pass smog, so I can register it by 4/19. I need to put it on a smoke machine so that I can find where the leak in the lines are. I'm hoping that my former brother-in-law's mechanic will give me a good deal. One place that had worked on it before quoted me $180 for the test alone.

I hope you get your car to pass smog!

Hopefully your former brother in law will come through for you

In Indiana smog testing is free,but to fix what ever is wrong can be real expensive.

He's not a mechanic, but he knows a lot about cars, so he knows who to go to. I'm helping him out with some computer stuff, so it all works out. We have to smog our cars yearly, but most places don't charge more than $20. I lived in California most of my life, and while you only need to smog your car there every other year, it costs around $60 to do it. Of course, that was four years ago.

So it looks like its going to work out. Indiana requires you smog your cars every third year.

Too early to tell. I paid $12.99 for the smog test (non-passing), and I need to pay another $8, if it does. My registration's going to cost $49 (I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am SE coupe. Don't laugh, it's paid for.) Since I can register via an ATM like machine outside the DMV, they won't need to look at my proof of insurance. ^_^;
