Because no one's ever called themselves a granarian, fruitan, dairyite. Isn't coleslaw made with mayo? Personally, I can't stand either one of them. I also hate egg salad, potato salad (I had some made with red potatoes, green onions, and mustard once that was pretty good), or macaroni salad.

Bug: That line was paraphrased from the second Hellboy movie. You really shouldn't drink alcohol three days before getting a tat. It makes the bleeding worse than it normally would be. The same thing happens if you take aspirin up to eight hours before getting one. My most painfull tat was on my right shin.

It didn't help matters that I went to a SRO concert the next day by Blues Traveler. Great show, but I was in a lot of pain. I was heavier then, and I ended up getting cellulitus in that leg for two weeks.

Either way, sorry you got sick Pink... that is always unfortunate.
Lettuce and tomatoes in the salad. Why is it always the coleslaw? Or is it because the servers don't wash their hands before touching my food? That is sickening. In more ways than one.

The way I see it, salmonella in the natural foods, its not because of the produce, its the people with poop on their hands, passing it on to all of us, probably the use of cow manure, which i think is a sick practice of growing our food in, and cross contamination with other animal related foods perhaps.
Im going to start my garden in late summer and nobody is allowed to poop in it. I should be safe then.

Thats great that you love it there!

Here in Indiana it struggles to get past 80-85. So it gets a little warm here.Sometimes you use your a/c alot in the summer and other times you barely use it. In some extreme cases you may need your heat at night when temperatures drop but that rarely happens.I have never had a problem with crime here either.

I know I know, but I do not listen when it comes to that! LOL I think all of my Tats I have been drinking. But I knew I really was going to need it for my foot. It really did not bleed, but boy was my foot swollen for like a week.

Yeah the one on my ankle hurt but not as bad as the one on my foot.

Pink: I don't a chance to eat that many salads (or any other fruits/veggies), so on the roughly three times I've been to CiCi's Pizza (the one at N Decatur & 215 is good), I always make sure to get the Italian Salad. Hmmm...I do have a can of green beans at home, so I think that I'll have it for dinner. Since coleslaw gives you so much trouble, have you thought of becoming a fruitarian?

Gdude: What is the humidity in IN like? The Greyhound bus I was on didn't stop, but I do remember we were playing tag with a thunderstorm over a couple of states.

Bug: Which of the Hellboy movies did you like better? On the whole, I prefer the second one, but the Russian cemetery scenes in the first one were pretty good.

If anyone would like to take a look at my tats, just click on my name, and take a look at my album.

Who's up for a DDO? Not now, but mid to late June. I sort of (from the outside) checked out the new Russian restaurant/bar, Matryoshka yesterday. They're in the same complex as the Bootlegger Bistro we once held a DDO at. I talked to a couple of the owners, and they're the real deal. It didn't hurt that one of them lived in the same town that my maternal grandfather was from.

I think that is the mayo in the coleslaw... probably was left sitting out too long, possibly out all day somewhere. It's gross really, the way that people aren't careful with food.

I went to the Turkey Day with buffet with my sister and her husband this last year at the Santa Fe Station. Cooking a whole bird for myself would have bee wasteful. My only complaints were the lack of mince pie, and the shrimp of a hostess who pissed us all off. When she asked us if we wanted a booth, my sister said no. Said shrimp looked at us, and said, "I didn't think so." We were going to let it slide, but my brother-in-law went to the manager to complain. Hopefully she's having fun getting her food stamps now.
