Typically airport food is marked up to absurbly high rates which are just as high at Dulles, O'Hare or even Portland (I flew through all of them last year). Your earlier post stated that McD's on the strip were priced the same as those at the airport which I strongly disagree with since I have eaten at most if not all of them, their rates whether at Excalibur, Monte Carlo, or on the strip were the same with the ones in D.C.

No Value menus with 1 Dollar items, that would be the biggest difference. And if that is all you buy from; you notice it.

The use of food concessionaires is a real disappointment in LV. You go into a casino, and you have to buy your food from an overpriced Denny's or McDonalds? Like you are at LAX or something. I'd rather gamble on my computer.

I was specifically talking about the MCD at Fiesta (not on the Strip). It may even be worse on the Strip. I haven't eat there in 8 months, but the one time I considered it; it looked like it would cost me about 6 bucks, instead of the 3, I am used to paying.

I also believe there is a strong correlation between many Strip services and those at the Airport--crappy slot machines for one. Expensive shopping offering little value for another, and four Dollar hot dogs at both.
