i am on my 3rd interview with the M for a vault cashier.. It is a full time position.... the only reason I even have a chance is that 1. the job is not listed on any website (it is internal).. and I know the VP of Player Development very well... so I think I am in, just that i have to jump through hoops.... but before anyone brings it up, let me say that i am not a job jumper... I am working for Manheim (which i like the job)..Last year my position paid 14-16. per hr... this year with the economy they are starting at 8. and in 90 days upto 10. (i did not know this prior to working, i had assumed last years wage).. and the biggy...they want me to dump my dealer's license all together.. which i don't think i am going to let that happen

The cage positions are not covered under Union contract so the union does not come into play with your position. If you do take the job. Here is my advice. Do your transactions slow. It's easy to overpay on a internal transfer of funds. Learn to lay the funds out so they can be clearly be ID by the camera before they go out the window. Surveillance is the great equalizer if somebody on the surveillance crew has cage experience and does your tape review when your come up with a major shortage

Depending on the operation, yes usually the vault services money side for the cage and slots to operate. You may make tips depending if your respsonsible for cashing out employees tokes. The transactions are high $ amounts. The slot drop alone in a place that size will probally average $600,000 for a mid week drop. Its a fairly simple job if you take the time to do it right. It can be stressfull at times depending on the work load and time frame given in the day.

Yep but they like you to have some experience, casino cage or merchant/vault window banking. I doubt you will get $15. The satellite cashers at Aria only got 13.29 to start. You may get it depending on the mood of the hiring manager. Knowing somebody really does not help these days. If you turn out to be an idiot it makes them look bad referring you.
