Most of you are overlooking the fact that fringe benefits make up a good amount of the "average" compensation number quoted. Their real gross salary is significantly less.

So, let's compare apples to apples and not oranges.

I can't speak for every organization, agency, etc., but I strongly suspect that the answer to your question is no. My listing (I work for a State Authority) is just for my annual salary.

BASE SALARY AND OT ONLY ..mine numbers are off alot ....

I just saw an article in the Long Beach Herald listing salaries for various district Superintendents.

The highest paid is RVC, coming in @ a whopping $309,000.

Does this make anyone else sick to their stomachs?

Carole Hankin, Superintendent Syosset is listed on Seethrough NY as $485,246 for 2010 and her assistant made $353,367. That does not include all the many fringe benefits.
