I know I made the right decision. There's a big difference between caring about and keeping up to date with your hometown and "convincing myself I made the right decision". I'm happy that I left. I'm happy that my parents are finally leaving. I love LI, it will always be my home, but the truth of the matter is that's it's just not worth living there anymore. Even if you've got all the money in the world, there are far better places to live. Ultimately, I'd like to see everyone happy and if living on NY makes you happy - excellent, enjoy yourself. We're allowed differing opinions.
