Hello again Fordso5 haha.
Sorry I didn't reply to your question. Haven't been back to this site in awhile. I think Moving to Long Beach is the best decision I ever made because I feel like I am on vacation all the time here. It seems like a very active / healthy community. The people seem nice, plus there are some great things to come - including the bayside development which will give us a marina and a south street seaport type atmosphere - plus all the restaurants and projects that are going to happen on the boardwalk.
I'm in my mid 30s and my GF "soon to be wife" is in her late 20s. I love living in my little house with my cute back yard with everything (shops / beach / train) a walk away. I thought commuting would be a pain, but it seriously only takes me 25 minutes to get to Carle Place. That's a lot less then the average commute to NYC.
well I could write more, but I'm about to leave work. TTYL
