The droning noise is farking unbearable. It's that time of the year to stick the finger up to all of you who hire these guys and their obnoxious machinery because you're too damn lazy. Chime in with your excuses if that's you.
I'll chime in... husband has a bad back, I have bad knees, we don't feel like sweating our ass off mowing our lawn. Sorry you don't like it but it is what it is. Used to cut our own lawn did it for 3 years and said F this! and hired a landscaper.
I would rather listen to mowers, leaf blowers all day over the barking dogs all day or the crappy loud bass thumping music at midnight from inconsiderate neighbors.

Lazy? No excuses! For $30, let them knock themselves out! For me to just edge the lawn, edge the sidewalk, driveway path, around all fences & blow all the clippings into bags, would take me well over 1.5 hours. My township doesn’t take lawn clippings (trip to the dump). Plus Maintenance on all lawn equipment.
No thanks! $30 we’ll spent!

I assume your in Huntington. I put clippings in contractor bags never an issue.

Ovi woke up this morning and looked around and realized he or she lived in the suburbs.
Five decades ago one June, I arrived from the city, realized the lawn needed cutting and bought a reel mower. It did its job that year, but with the next spring's thick growth, oh was it hard to push! I told that to colleagues and one donated a gasoline machine that was heavy and not self-powered. More tough shoving. The next time, I bought a lighter-weight gasoline machine that lasted years. However the edges and lawn looked worse as the years progressed, so I began hiring lawn crews. Some guys can do their work by themselves for decades, but then may come cumulative problems.

You want to listen to my lawn equipment going for two hours or my landscapers for 20 minutes?
Is there a noise difference between commercial and homeowner landscaping equipment?
