Once the media tried to convince us he was flashing secret white power hand signals (a headline that seems to have vanished) I tuned them out.
It wasn't just the media - even his Republican colleagues have acknowledged that Santos flashed the white power sign - for example, here's a quote from fellow Long Island Republican Congressman Nick LaLota:
“He hasn’t shown any remorse, he hasn’t corrected any of the behavior. He still has antics like showing a white power sign on the House floor. It’s not appropriate for our conference, for our country,”

The media wants his seat. That's all there is to it. They know if he resigns a dem would be very likely to win that seat in a special election. They actually had a legit story with the endless lies on his resume, but that failed to get him to quit so now they are throwing everything but the kitchen sink at him in desperation. He's a Russian Spy!! He's a puppy killer!! He bought expensive dinners!! In the end they are just overplaying their hand as usual.

Sorry outside of the lying most of the media’s latest stories are ridiculous, some border line comical. They are wasting their time he isn’t going anywhere. McCarthy is smart he’s doing exactly what the democrats would be doing protecting his majority. Like it or not chances are excellent he will be your congressman until 2024.

Just because the Democratic media invented and then ran with their own “Santos Flashes White Supremacy Gang Signs” tale doesn’t mean everything the Democratic media says about Santos (while pushing his resignation) is wrong.
I don't understand why Santos is a big deal. Trump lied about everything . Coined the term Alternative Facts. Locker room talk. 4 years of all kinds of crazy lies. So now LI GOP is upset about this guy? Come on. Welcome to the new normal. Just remember. If Santos and Trump can do it so can the layman.

Pretty sure lots of republicans have been pushing for his resignation as well.
