Almost like there’s a huge story/scandal in one branch of government in DC (the FBI searched the private home of a sitting president and found another stash of highly classified material) but we’re getting the Democrat media ‘look squirrel’ routine in regards to a virtual nonentity in another.

Like DiFi and Swalwell?

The best thing is if every stupid thing Santos has done gets out there is zero leverage against him.

Horse hockey, everything is fine in DC. We even have people to make sure of it.

The more I see Santos telling the Dems to go pound sand the more I like him. I'll take 10 Santos' over one Mitch McConnell or Lindsay Graham.

Santos is like waking up with that ugly person you picked up at the bar, and then noticing that there's rice in your hair and a ring on your finger.

Another day another story. Aside from all the crazy stories that come out about his lies, his actions or his past, a potential legal issue Santos appears to face is where did the $$ come from. His campaign released Amended finance reports. While amended finance reports in itself aren't that unusual, the amounts and what was amended certainly aren't typical and leave more questions than answers (where did the $$ come from)

Quote:
Late Tuesday afternoon, Santos’ political operation filed a flurry of amended campaign finance reports, telling the feds, among other things, that a $500,000 loan he gave to his campaign didn’t, in fact, come from his personal funds as he’d previously claimed.

However, while the new amended filing told us where the funds did not come from, it also raised a new question—where did the money come from?

While both the old and new campaign filings claim that the loans came “from the candidate,” the campaign’s most recent amended filing had ticked the box for “personal funds of the candidate”; on the new amended filing today, that box is unchecked.

But the Dems are not bothering Santos, the Republicans from his state were the ones hounding him to resign. Both sides had their comments about him, but the pressure to resign was coming mostly from New York state republicans.

He’s being investigated by like ten different Democrat-run government agencies from the governors office to the AG to some Federal groups as well. NY Republicans are mostly trash Judas’ anyway so I’m not shocked they’re eager to shoot their house majority in the foot over MUH PRINCIPLES. The left has no principles other than winning and thus neither should the right. This is a zero sum game and if one of our players is a fraud, who cares as long as he votes the right way.
