All types of Metrolink tickets work on Metro. Round trips are considered a Metro Day Pass.

That's almost a car payment!

Metrolink riders are substantially more affluent than the average Metro Rail patron, most of whom make under $20K per year according to the MTA's own research.

Legacy cities such as Boston, NYC and Chicago have far more residents who commute into those cities than LA residents do, and the percentage of folks who use rail to commute into DTLA is downright microscopic by comparison.

I ride Metrolink daily and the trains are packed. Many people on the train are not just going to Downtown but other work areas like Mid Wilshire, Hollywood, and Universal City. The train saves me 45 minutes a day over driving. I love my commute. How many people can say that.

Yes from Montclair to Wishire and Western. This is by far the line with the best schedule.

Are you going to try driving to APU/Citrus for the Metro Gold Line in a few months? Much cheaper than Metrolink and is quite fast (~45min to Union Station)...

New Gold Line sounds like a good option from the Covina area. See that could reduce ridership from that area on Metrolink. I will probably continue on Metrolink as I live so close to the station.
